In a match of idiots Grudden's timeout (costing the Bucs 19 seconds in a to the wire contest) and decision to go for it rather than take a 7 point lead fails. Big surprise! The Bucs are such a great rushing offense. Then mastermind Fassel takes over and wastes his timeout on 3rd and 20 with 1:59 to go- but did you see the 40 second clock- it still had 23 seconds on it when Kerry (have another Tom) Collins calls a timeout so they can take an intentional safety and not be able to stop the clock if they don't recover the ensuing onside kick. Thankfully my bet was Tampa -5.5 (shop those lines boyz), but Gruden & Fassel and sharp linesmakers sure do make it difficult to cap these F-ing games. Al Michaels picked up on it (an earthquake in Vegas- great line). I go to bed happy, but exasperated- The final should have ben 20-13 Bucs.
i hear ya barking. just think of all the twists and turns this game took, just in the last 5 mins of regulation. i played the over and lost, but in hindsight this could have easily been over. collins throws and int when the giants are driving and toomer just drops a sure touchdown..... oh well, just wasnt meant to be. luck was on your side tonight, not mine.

you simply can't cap this kind of shit!!! we were on the right side tonite, but there is something EXTREMELY weird going on in the nfl this year! i too had em at -5 1/2 locally, but dropped a small teaser tb+1/2 & ov32 kick the F-ing fg and i win everything. oh well, at least a decently profitable nite -- not good for the heart though!
